Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Oakland, CA)

Westbrook Drift Inspection Services is an inspection company in Oakland with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for test reports. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
