Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (New Orleans, LA)

Cedar Oak Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across New Orleans. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for certifications. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
