Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (New Orleans, LA)

Greenridge Lakeside Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around New Orleans, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for weigh tickets. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
