Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (New Orleans, LA)

Silverline Rook Manufacturing makes precision components in New Orleans, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for machine downtime. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
