Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (New Orleans, LA)

Rivermark Iron Auto Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
