Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Milwaukee, WI)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Mill Foods and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for cold storage. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
