Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Milwaukee, WI)

Northwind Oak Freight is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 926 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
