Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Miami, FL)

Fernwood Vale Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Miami plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 421 people based in Miami. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for tooling. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
