Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Memphis, TN)

Bluepeak Quarry Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Memphis. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for collection routes. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
