Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Madison, WI)

Lumen Junction Manufacturing Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for production lines. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison. • We reply to every applicant.
