Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Madison, WI)

Northwind West Freight Partners is a Madison logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 166 people based in Madison. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for dock schedules. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison. • We reply to every applicant.
