Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Madison, WI)

Westbrook Sparrow Foods is a Madison food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Madison. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for customer specifications. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
