Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Madison, WI)

Highbridge Sparrow Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Madison with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for fleet maintenance. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
