Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Wilder Construction and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for safety records. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with safety records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
