Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Yarrow Foods and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for ingredient orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
