Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Kansas City, MO)

Bluepeak Glen Inspection Services Group provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Kansas City, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 178 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for certifications. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
