Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Kansas City, MO)

Fernwood Vista Construction is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for change orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for change orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
