Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Summit Pine Markets and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 416 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for shrink and waste. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with shrink and waste. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
