Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Jackson, MS)

Redstone Hollow Telecom is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for field visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 425 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for field visits. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
