Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Indianapolis, IN)

Bright Fern Freight Group is a Indianapolis logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 99 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for dock schedules. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
