Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Lumen Beacon Auto Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
