Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Houston, TX)

Highbridge Birch Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Houston with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for fleet maintenance. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
