Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Houston, TX)

Silverline Ivory Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Houston, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Houston. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for ingredient orders. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
