Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Honolulu, HI)

Lumen Iron Construction is a Honolulu contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for permits. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
