Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Hartford, CT)

Lumen Rook Manufacturing Partners is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
