Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Hartford, CT)

Ironwood Pike Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Hartford. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for vehicle inspections. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with vehicle inspections. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
