Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Hartford, CT)

Redstone Oak Freight is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for dock schedules. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms.
