Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Hartford, CT)

Redstone Ashton Farms is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for cold storage. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
