Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Hartford, CT)

Cedar Vale Markets Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for pricing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for pricing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with pricing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
