Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Hartford, CT)

Ironwood Maple Press produces print and digital publications in Hartford. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
