Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Grand Rapids, MI)

Silverline Corner Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Grand Rapids plant. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for bindery work. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
