Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Grand Rapids, MI)

Bright Bridge Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Grand Rapids region. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for harvest schedules. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
