Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Fresno, CA)

Foxglove Ashton Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Fresno, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 547 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
