Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Ashton Telecom and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for billing accounts. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
