Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Detroit, MI)

Redstone Fox Markets is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for online orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
