Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Des Moines, IA)

Rivermark Corner Manufacturing is a Des Moines manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 251 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for scrap and rework. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
