Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Des Moines, IA)

Foxglove Drift Farms is an agricultural business based around Des Moines, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 260 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for field records. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with field records. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
