Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Des Moines, IA)

Silverline Bridge Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Des Moines. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for recycling loads. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
