Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Columbus, OH)

Amberfield Vale Manufacturing makes precision components in Columbus, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
