Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Columbus, OH)

Nova Fern Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Columbus focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 870 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for service installations. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
