Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Cleveland, OH)

Fernwood Bright Markets serves neighbourhoods around Cleveland with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 156 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for pricing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with pricing. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
