Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Chicago, IL)

Clearpath Bridge Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Chicago. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for customer tracking. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
