Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Chicago, IL)

Rivermark West Telecom Group is a telecommunications provider in Chicago focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for field visits. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
