Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Charlotte, NC)

Cedar Maple Manufacturing is a Charlotte manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 640 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for tooling. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
