Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Charlotte, NC)

Northwind Mill Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Charlotte, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for equipment calibration. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
