Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Charlotte, NC)

Nova Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Charlotte. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
