Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Charleston, SC)

Amberfield Timber Construction is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for project schedules. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
