Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Charleston, SC)

Summit Corner Auto Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for customer estimates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for customer estimates. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer estimates.
