Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Buffalo, NY)

Bright Orchard Farms is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for packing house output, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 56 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for packing house output. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Knowledge of freight terms.
