Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Silverline Pine Markets Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for store inventory. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with store inventory. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
